themes, which get more boldly imaginative
the further into the CD you get. By
Track 9, he's off in hot pursuit of
some serious improv jazz action.
The
bass playing was rather punky and ham-fisted
in a deliberate way and I really liked
that about it.
Its
got a kind of rough-hewn quality which
I find really attractive.
