Producer Programmer Arranger Musician & Songwriter Brazilian music producer/musician (born in Rio de Janeiro), has been living permanently in the UK since 1993, and is now based in Canterbury (South East England), where he owns a profession digital recording studio. Ricky Seraphico is a very prolific producer & player, with a very solid back ground as a musician, having studied Harmony & Music theory with Isidoro Kutno (founder of Musiarte) as well as studied guitar (acoustic, electric and slide), bass guitar and the Chapman Stick with many renown musicians. Having this musical back ground and being very versatile and creative, as well as of course, having the Brazilian music & rhythm in his blood is indeed a great asset to the music he produces. Melody and rhythm are two of the most important elements in his productions.

Ricky divides his time between writing his own music (either for library music companies, Theatre plays, TV/Film and UFO related Video/DVD documentaries) and working as a producer/programmer/arranger/musician & songwriter, delivering HIGH QUALITY DEMOS/MASTERS CD to his clients (singers, songwriters and musicians). Ricky also teaches guitar, bass, harmony & theory privately.

Having started playing music at a very early age and having learned to play so many different instruments does indeed contribute hugely to being able to provide an unbiased overall view of music and instruments. Of course having been influenced by so many different styles of music through out the years, from Brazilian music/Latin to Rock, Fusion, Pop, R&B, World music/New Age, and Dance/Techno/Trance is also of a great help too, because Ricky is able to bring different elements from all these genres of music and combine them together with other styles of music, producing very fresh and organic music, which will enviably contribute to the client’s music sounding different and interesting, without, of course losing its commerciality (legacy of working with Pop music), which is so important in the music industry today.
