Women and Movements brings together 20 black and white photographs, taken from the book and website “Mulheres e Movimentos” by Claudia Ferreira. This series has been selected from the photographer's personal collection of over 4,000 pictures

They depict the social manifestations and mobilizations of the Brazilian and Latin American women’s movements during the nineties.

Throughout this period, they were deeply involved in the political and cultural life of their countries, as well as in global and national activities such as Regional Encounters, World Social Forums and United Nations Conferences.
