 FREE CAPOEIRA CLASSES FOR KIDS

Every Saturday

Hi, my name is Jose Marcelo de Lima, I am a capoeira instructor in London and at the moment I'm leading a PROJECT called FREE CAPOEIRA CLASSES for CHILDREN near to Old Street Station, EC1.


Capoeira is a Brazilian cultural expression combining dance, music, game, sport, and acrobatics with self-defence elements where two players get into a circle to play to avoiding physical contact.



The purpose of the project is to bring kids from all different backgrounds and social groups together. To show children that they do not have to fight to solve problems, but use their mind and escape of a harmful situation. Capoeira also teaches discipline and gives the children something to work for.

Please help us to involve more children by spreading the word.

At moment The FREE CAPOEIRA KIDS PROJECT can hold 30 kids. It is on Saturday mornings from 10am to 12pm, aged 7 to 15 years old

at the Gambier Hall, Mora Street, EC1. London.
