Sound waves with a taste of cachaça

Forget whiskey! The Cachaça Appreciation Society's is where it's at!

Those caipirinha-lovers are back again, and this time round, they're planning a double dose of fun.

The guys behind the Caipirinha Appreciation Society (CAS), who organize parties for people who enjoy drinking fine liquors and dancing to great Brazilian music, are back with a fortnightly event and a radio programme.

"The idea is to create events that revolve around our most popular exports; samba, caipirinha and positive vibrations", explains Mdc Suinge, long-time Jungle collaborator and the brains behind the whole initiative together with DJ Wig.

The cachaça-soaked sound waves hit the air every Thursday on Life FM 101.4, and should include interviews with Brazilian artists, news and special offers.
